Google algorithm is the package of software codes designed for data searching and sorting. This algorithm makes the database of keywords, websites URL, images, videos, and other content on websites. Fetching the data from the website called ‘crawling’ and making database called ‘Indexing’.Google always update this algorithm software to provide accurate and exact search results, when Google make some major change in algorithm then they give it a name like Panda, Penguin, pigeon, hummingbird etc.

1-    Panda:  

Launch date: Panda launched on Feb 24, 2011
Hazards: Basically panda was roll out to control duplicate, plagiarized content

2-    Penguin:

Launch Date: Penguin launched on Apr 24, 2012
Hazards: Penguin rolls out to control over spammy or irrelevant links with over-optimized keyword/anchor text.
How to Adjust: Regular audit your backlink by the help of backlink checking tools like SEMrush, a-href tool etc and if find any bad link then disallow it by the help  of Google webmaster tool.

Hazards:  Hummingbird rolled out to control keyword stuffing and low-quality content.
How to Adjust: Maintain keyword density in content and focus on your concept rather than keyword. Use relevant search terms, synonyms of keywords or LSI keywords.

4-    Pigeon

Launch Date: Pigeon launched on Jul 24, 2014, for the USA and on Dec 22, 2014, for UK, Canada, and Australia etc.
Hazards:  Poor On-Page Optimization and off-Page optimization
